In the context of our country’s international representation before the competent Instruments of the European Union and International Organizations (WIPO, WTO, UNESCO, etc.), as well as in meetings with foreign officials, OPI has participated in the following:

• From December 14 to 15, 2011, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• From November 21 to 24, 2011, OPI represented Greece in the proceedings of the Standing Committee for Copyright and Related Rights, in the framework of WIPO.
• From November 9 to 11, 2011, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On April 1st, 2011, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On February 21, 2011, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On December 15, 2010, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• From June 7 to 9, 2010, OPI represented Greece in the 14th Session of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Copyright Committee. In this session Greece was appointed Vice President and its service as member of the above mentioned committee was renewed.
• On May 13 and 14, 2008, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On April 16 and 17, 2008 OPI represented Greece in the IPR Enforcement Expert Group Strengthening the IPR Enforcement of EU Industry and SMEs.
• From March 10 to 12, 2008, OPI represented Greece in the proceedings of the 16th Standing Committee for Copyright and Related Ρights, in the framework of WIPO.
• On February 8, 2008 OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• From February 3 to 5, 2008 OPI represented Greece in the 4th International Conference on Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy that took place in Dubai.
• From January 28 to February 1, 2008, OPI participated in the USPTO Global Intellectual Property Academy Copyright Program.
• On January 16, 2008, OPI represented Greece in the IPR Enforcement Expert Group Strengthening the IPR Enforcement of EU Industry and SMEs.
• On October 29, 2007, OPI represented Greece in a meeting which took place in Brussels with the subject of Directive 2001/29 (Contact Committee – Directive 2001/29/EC).
• On September 10, 2007, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual property which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council.
• On May 30, 2007, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On April 2, 2007, a Chinese Delegation visited the Ministry of Culture. OPI’s representatives discussed with the members of the delegation matters of copyright protection in Greece.
• On March 12, 2007, OPI participated in the meeting of the US-Greek Economic and Commercial Cooperation Commission, which took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and presented the issue of copyright protection in Greece, as well as the measures taken by OPI for the battle against the phenomenon of “piracy”.
• On February 23, 2007, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On February 19, 2007, OPI represented Greece in a meeting of the European Commission regarding the WIPO Treaty on the protection of Broadcasting Organizations.
• From January 30 to 31, 2007, OPI represented Greece in the Third Global Congress Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy, WIPO (Geneva).
• From January 17 to 19, 2007, OPI represented Greece in the WIPO SCCR First Session on the WIPO Broadcasting Treaty (Geneva).
• On December 8, 2006, OPI participated in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On November 28 and 29, 2006, OPI participated in the seminar “Performers’ rights in Europe: New perspectives?” organized by AEPO ARTIS - Association of European Performers' Organizations.
• On November 16, 2006, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels.
• On September 11 to 13, 2006, OPI represented Greece in the proceedings of the 15th Standing Committee for Copyright and Related rights, in the framework of WIPO. The agenda included the proposal for a New Treaty for Broadcasting Organizations.
• On June 16, 2006, OPI represented Greece in the proceedings of the Working Group operating in accordance with art. 12 of Directive 2001/29, in the framework of the EU Commission. The main subject of the meeting was the amendment of the standing legislative framework on equitable remunerations.
• From May 15 to 17, 2006, OPI represented Greece in the proceedings of the Third Conference of the Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE), created by WIPO (Geneva).
• On March 9, 2006, OPI represented Greece in a meeting in Brussels regarding the course of the embodiment of Directive 2004/48 on the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
• On March 2 and 3, 2006, OPI participated in the Specialist Conference, which took place in Vienna, Austria and was co-organized by the Austrian Presidency and the EU, with the following subject: “Content and Competition – Strengthening the European Creative Industries in the light of the i2010 Strategy”.
• On February 8 and March 8, 2006, OPI represented Greece in the Working Group on Intellectual Property (Copyright), which assembled in the framework of the European Union’s Council, in Brussels. The purpose of these meetings was the European Union’s coordination regarding the negotiations for the New Treaty for Broadcasting Organizations, taking place in WIPO by the Standing Committee for Copyright and Related rights.
