The Hellenic Copyright Organization (OPI) and the US Patent Office (USPTO) organize an International Conference with subject: «Copyright Policies and the Role of Stakeholders».
The Conference will take place on the 26th and the 27th of June 2008 from 09.00 until 16.00, in Hilton hotel.
The goal of the Conference is that modern issues of copyright that have arisen in Europe as well as the United States will be presented and discussed. These issues will be presented by representatives of Greek and European Universities, as well as of international organizations such as WIPO, WCO, IFFRO, IFPI, MPAA and BSA.
The six sections of the Conference will discuss the following subjects: International and European copyright policies, The different stakeholders aspects, Central Collective Management of rights and levy reform, Enforcement Issues - Civil, Criminal and Border Measures, Enforcement on the Internet, Soft law and educational programs.
