Counterfeit Products and Piracy

| The Hellenic Copyright Organization is inviting you to a seminar with the subject “Counterfeit Products and Piracy”. The Organization is realizing the event in collaboration with TMeye Hellas, EPOE (Company for the Protection of Audiovisual Works), BSA (Business Software Alliance) and IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry). The seminar will deal with the following issues: internet crime and possible solutions, piracy in audiovisual works, ways of tracing illegal software in computers. During the seminar, awards will be presented to 19 police precincts and divisions in the Attica district and to the Special Control Service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The selection of the above mentioned departments was based on their outstanding actions in combating piracy. The awards will be presented by EPOE, BSA and IFPI. The seminar will take place on March 14th 2007, 8:00am-14:30 pm at the Amphitheatre of the Ministry of Culture, 20-22 Bouboulinas str.
