The Hellenic Copyright Organization is subsidized with 1% of the annual gross revenues of each Collecting Society, be paid by October 31st of each year at the latest, based on the balance sheet of the previous year, and collected in accordance with the Public Revenues Collection Code. The annual balance sheets of the Collecting Societies are submitted to the Hellenic Copyright Organization and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This is also applicable to the Collective Protection Societies, which must prepare an annual balance sheet that is submitted to the Hellenic Copyright Organization and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Gross revenues are the revenues as defined by the General Accounting Plan.
